Well if you weren't aware of the date yesterday, it was 7-11-2010, and if you weren't aware of the festivities, it meant free slushies at 711 gas stations. It also had one other little deal going on, 7-11-2010 was my 21st birthday. I had a pretty good day with beer, wings, family, bowling, and my best friend. Thanks if you already told me happy birthday, and sorry if you forgot to go get your free slushie at 711.

So I saw this pretty amazing band up in Milwaukee at Summerfest. They are pretty unknown I guess but I loved them and thought I should share them with everyone who doesn't know about this goodness in their ears.

This lovely screen print is the newest edition to my growing personal art collection. I picked it up on my trip to Chicago. I didn't attent the blues fest but i fell in love with this poster and had to have it.
