These posters go with a book I made in Graphic Design 1. The book is a bunch of random pictures and words that are placed in an order to tell a story. My story is about a person who is leaving everything they know because they are unhappy with their life. All of their friends and family are trying to help but its unwanted. The person becomes so occupied with the fact that they are traveling that they lose it all in a tragic accident where the person dies. It hurts their friends and family the most and pushes their friends and family into depression and they turn to unhealthy ways of dealing with the death.

Tata Gala Design Finished!

So I just finished up the design for my Tata Gala piece today.

Newer freetime work.

The image with the dragon is still in progress and is something i just started sketching then drawing for fun.

The other images are all process work for my piece that i'm putting into the Tata Gala. You can see on the girls chest where i'll be putting in the chestpiece i drew out. Hope you guys like!

Final product of single line Icon

so here is the final sculpture, its made of wire, which is painted a neon pink, then its base is a square of plexiglass. It turned out really nice so i'm happy.

Hockey Disciples T-shirt.

So a buddy of mine runs a website called Hockey Disciples, and he asked me to make some shirts up for him. He had the ideas and I've just starting putting them into designs. He wanted the generalized "signage" people with creative lines refering to Hockey vocabulary. This is the first of many.

Ice Hockey Logo redesign.

So my little brother plays for the Newsome High School Hockey team and came to me asking to redesign his jersey logo.
I didn't have alot to work from, so I turned to the school's other sports team logo and adapted it to make sure the hockey team stayed in tune with the school, but was still different in cool way.

I found this really cool site showing very nice movie openings and title sequences. This is definatly a good reference site for those people interested in motion graphics.

Adbusters Contest.

Suger Skull Rendered.

So I took my tattoo idea sketch into illustrator and used the pen tool to outline the whole thing and clean it up. Then i took it into photoshop and did some coloring to give some life to the day of the dead skull.

Logo I just finished up.

This is a logo I just finished for my friend jake's boss up in Martha's Vineyard.

Heres some pretty cool packaging.

I especially like the Banana Juice box's and I threw in the pixel couch, it's not packaging but is still really cool.

So i've been doing more research and web searches and came up with these desktop backgrounds that I thought were really interesting and good uses of typography.

So this is just some random peices I've done over the last 6 months or so. Most of them are just backgrounds I made for the desktop of my computer. Hope you guys like looking!

More progress.

Heres a little more progress on this piece. I repainted the background with a deeper purple acrylic paint. Need to finish coloring in the tattoos and add some rendering in her skin and white highlights.

I leave tomorrow morning for the United States from Gatwick airport in London. I've never been more excited to get on an airplane before. 3 weeks is just way to long to be away from her.

I'm in Paris now. I did alot more in England the last few days i was there. I'm just too lazy to rewrite it all because i wrote it in my sketchbook already. Paris is pretty, but its a dirty city. Its funny there are like no trash cans in London but its very very clean, but in Paris there are trash cans everywhere and its super dirty.

Days 2 & 3 in London..

Well i'm back in Oxted now after my third day in downtown London. Today was the first day me and the family went into the city by ourselves without the help of of hosts here. We went on the train to London Bridge first the one pictured above if you didn't know. After a quick walk across that we went into the London Tower. It was pretty cool, its like a Castle surrounded by two walls and a moat. Inside it is a tone of historical things and and and... the Crown Jewels of England. They are definatly impressive, its just incredable how gaudy and exsessive the Kings and Queens were. Huge dimonds, rubys, saphires, every precious stone you could think of. So we stayed there for a few hours then took another few trains in the Underground to the Imperial War Museum. That place was alright, just loads and loads of military things like tanks, planes, uniforms, guns, movies, posters, everything about every war.
Yesterday we went into London and went to Ian's (our host here) coffee business. That was quite interesting and got to try some great Columbian coffee. We went with they're family to the Borough Market for lunch. I ate an Ostrich burger and it wasn't half bad. After that we went to the Tate Modern art Museum, and let me tell you that has been the highlight of the trip for me. I got to see sooo many of my favorite artists and there pieces. Picasso, Monet, Warhol, Rauschenberg, Oldenberg, Kadinsky, Magrit, Lichtenstien, Pollock, Bacon, Rothko, Miro, and Dorethe Lange photography. Thats not even all of it either, i coud walk around there for days, its in an old power station and is just hugeeeee. So after a drink at the bar we started to walk to Covent Garden Market. On the way i saw two, count'em two, Banksy graffiti pieces. At the market we walked around for awhile and i bought a piece of photography, some banksy cards, and a gift for Elyse. After that we came home for dinner where i crashed like a baby.

Tomorrow i'm going to a castle and i think Brighton beach so i'll keep you updated.
